Beijing to Shanghai, 21 days itineraryDay 1ARRIVE BEIJING Arrive in Bejing on KL897 at 0835. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to check in to your 3 star PEIXIN Hotel. Day 3
BEIJING
Sightsee Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.
This evening, you may enjoy an optional performance of the 200-year old Peking Opera show.

Day 4
Morning is free to explore the city on your own. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace. After dinner, transfer to the local station for night train in soft sleeper compartment to Xian

Day 6
On arrival, you will be escorted to check into your 3 star ORENT HOTEL XIAN. Today’s sightseeing includes Terracotta Warriors Museum, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening, enjoy a fabulous Tang Dynasty show.

Day 7
After breakfast, visit the ancient City Wall, the Provincial Museum and the Great Mosque. This evening board your overnight sleeper train to Yichang

Day 8
Morning arrive in Yichang. Brief city tour including the Yangtze Sturgeon Breeding Center and Gezhou Dam before boarding your 4 star President Cruise Ship –M.S Yangtze Paradise and settle into your comfortable cabin to begin your memorable cruise upstream.

Day 9
YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE:
Stop at
San Dou Ping this morning to see the historic Three Gorges Dam project. Re-board
the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock before continuing
through Xiling Gorge, the longest of the famed Three Gorges.

Day 10
YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE:
Early this
morning, delight in Wu Gorge's deep zigzagging valley. At Wushan, transfer to a
motorboat for an exciting excursion on either Daning River or Shennong Stream to
view their breathtaking small gorges. Re-board the ship and soon pass through
the dramatic grandeur of Qutang Gorge, framed by steep cliffs.

Day 11
YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE:
Today's
shore excursion shows the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda known as the "Pearl
of the Yangtze" in scenic Shibaozhai.

*Alternate shore excursion may visit Fengdu or Wanzhou.
Day 12
Morning cruising through now-gentle countryside to Chongqing, where you disembark the ship. On arrival, motor coach to Dazu, famed for its Buddhist archeological sites. Lunch in Dazu; sightseeing includes monumental Buddhist sculptures at Beishan and Baodingshan. Return to Chongqing in the late afternoon and check into your 4 star EAST GARDEN HOTEL

Day 13
CHONGQING to KUNMING
This morning, out to tour the People’s Great Hall. After lunch, take an overnight sleeper train to Kunming.

Day 14
Arrive in Kunming known as “City of Eternal Spring”. On arrival, tour the awe-inspiring Stone Forest, where massive limestone columns form a vast forest of surreal shapes and images. In the evening, fly to Lijiang and check into your 3 star ANCIENT SPRUCE GRAND HOTEL

Day 15
Lijiang, a firm favorite among visitors, will provide you with a golden opportunity to enjoy picturesque Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which soars at 5500 meters high, where you will enjoy the spectacular scenery from its peak. You will also visit Black Dragon Pool.

Day 16
TIGER LEAPING GORGE
Today,
visit one of the most dramatic gorges in the world: Tiger Leaping Gorge, which
is also one of the world’s deepest. Enjoy the truly breathtaking scenery.

Day 17
LIJIANG to DALI
This
morning, travel by minibus to small town of Dali (Ta-li) on the banks of Lake
Erhai. On arrival, you may take an optional boat ride on Lake Erhai
including visits to local fishing villages and markets. Later check in to your 3
star LANDSCAPE HOTEL

Day 18
Today‘s tour includes: Temple of Harmony and Justice where you can have a panoramic view of the lake below, Three Pagodas - temple complex of pagodas dating back to 9th century, largest of which is 70 m high. Tonight, take an overnight sleeper train to Kunming

Day 19
KUNMING to GUILIN
Arrive in
Kunming early in the morning. After brief freshen-up in a 3 star hotel, transfer
to the airport for your flight bound for Guilin. On arrival, be greeted and
transfer to check into your 3 star FUBO HOTEL. This afternoon, you may
take an optional tour to sightsee the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk
Hill.

Day 20
Today you'll enjoy a relaxing cruise on a deluxe air-conditioned boat along the Li River, passing through scenery reminiscent of Chinese ink paintings. See the haunting beauty of Guilin's mist-wrapped monolithic peaks surrounding the river en route to Yangshuo. In the afternoon, return to Guilin and check into the hotel.

Day 21
Full day trip sightseeing of the terraced rice fields in the region called Dragon's Back with a lunch in a traditional house of a minority group called Zhuang (Chuang) or rest and shop for souvenirs in town. After the tour, take an evening flight to Shanghai and check into your 3 star JINSHAJIANG HOTEL

Day 22
DEPART SHANGHAI
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your KL896 flight homeward.
