By Kevin Hill Assistant Sports Editor The Arkansas Mighty Ducks, a 9-under United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) baseball team comprised of players from Russellville and Fort Smith, won the USSSA 9-under World Series championship earlier this month in St. Louis, Mo., with a 7-1 record and outscored their tournament opponents 60-26 (7.5-3.25 runs per game).
